Since I started exploring around Indirubin I have been wanting to make an index of all the various nuances each oil offers to this molecule as a playground to diffuse and overlay with the already present other metabolites in place..

MEDICINE & COLOUR

The list of anti-inflammatory and medicinal use of Indigotin and Indirubin is almost endless, a panacea; a gift from the indigo bearing plants; a gift from nature to offer us a remedy in colours. And there is more than just Indirubin and Indigotin present in your pigment and your oils..

Just to name a few:

Indigotin, Indirubin, Tryptanthrin, Linoleic acid, Esculamine, Phenylalanine, Threonic acid, Dihydroxyindole, Caffeic acid, Caffeoyl, Quercitrin, Kaempferol, Delphinidine

I will be updating this index as we go.. but it gives a pretty straightforward idea of what to expect :

  • White or colourless oils → pink/purple
  • Yellow oils → reddish/burgundy
